The Bud Baxter Band

John Fortunato (Guitar & Vocals): John’s guitar and vocal work provides the distinctive texture to the overall Bud Baxter sound. His varied and extensive musical experience encompasses song writing, recording and live performance.

Philip Fortunato (Guitar & Vocals): Phil’s guitar and vocal abilities serve to both compliment and contrast the Bud Baxter vocal and instrumental arrangements. His experience includes recording and live performance.

Rob Brownlee (Bass & Vocals): Having been continuously active on the Toronto club scene, Rob’s a veteran of both past and present musical styles. His strong lyrical playing provides the basis for the Bud Baxter rhythmic foundation. Rob’s experience includes recording, live performance and touring.

Ted Galea (Drums & Percussion): Ted’s aggressive style provides the thrust and impetus of the characteristic Bud Baxter sound. His natural musical ability has provided a basis for many acts in the GTA and surrounding areas. Ted’s experience includes recording, live performance and touring with the Head Pins and Toronto.

Dave Toms  - (keyboards)
Dave has been playing in various bands since his high school days, including bands involving some of the current members of the Bud Baxter Band.  He was also the piano player at the St. George’s and Thornhill Golf Clubs for 17 years.  Dave enjoys writing and producing music in his home studio and has recently come out of retirement to join the band.  Dave’s talent and ear for arranging adds a new and exciting dimension to the Bud Baxter sound.
